PRESENTATION OF THE SESSION

This side-event will be an opportunity to present the main contribution of African non-state actors to the Talanoa Dialogue following the Climate Chance Africa 2018 summit held on 28 and 29 June in Abidjan - Côte d'Ivoire, notably by presenting the Abidjan Declaration, the follow-up to the Declaration of African Local Elected Officials, new climate initiatives launched at the level of the African continent, the commitment and priorities of African non-state actors to jointly combat climate change on the continent and which have gathered around ten thematic coalitions bringing together African non-state actors.
